Embedded Imaging with Digital Tomosynthesis & Augmented Fluoroscopy
Embedded Imaging is the core foundation of the Galaxy System. Embedded Imaging takes raw 2D image data from the c-arm intraoperatively to create 3D reconstructions using proprietary Digital Tomosynthesis (DT) enabling Advanced Imaging Capabilities.
Not All Digital Tomosynthesis is Created Equally
Galaxy’s Embedded Imaging technology enables rapid innovation. DT as a technology has actually been around for a while and historically has been a somewhat incomplete solution. Galaxy’s multi-generational DT technology has continuously refined the images so physicians can intraoperatively update the lesion location with confidence.

Augmented Fluoroscopy:
True Tool-in-Lesion Confidence
Updating the lesion location and overcoming CT-to-Body divergence is only half the story. Augmented fluoroscopy overlays a precise target on live fluoro, allowing micro-adjustments as you advance your tools, which ensures greater confidence in true tool-in-lesion confirmation, especially for small, peripheral nodules.
